About
With a combination of personal experience, advanced education, and practical experience in higher levels of care, I have dedicated myself to a career centered around helping individuals facing challenges with eating disorders, trauma, depression and anxiety. My commitment as a therapist is to offer comprehensive and person-centered therapy to help address client's individual needs- guiding them towards aligning with their values and achieving long-term goals.
Modalities Utilized
I employ a range of evidence-based theoretical perspectives. I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention & Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)- a trauma and exposure treatment that utilizes memory reconsolidation and eye movements to reprogram how negative memories are stored in the brain providing relief and trauma resolution.
Psychological Evaluations
In addition to therapeutic services, I also have professional expertise and training in the completion of psychological evaluations for immigration cases. These include Asylum, Hardship, VAWA, and U-Visa cases. I offer evaluations in Spanish and English.
